Packages
Day 1
- ➤07:42 AM – Take a local train from Sealdah to Canning (approx. 1 hour 10 minutes).
- ➤09:00 AM – Meet our tour manager at Canning. From here, proceed to Gadkhali Boat Ghat by local transport.
- ➤If arriving by private car, you may drive directly to Gadkhali Boat Ghat..
- ➤10:00 AM – Begin your Sundarbans tour by boat.
- ➤11:00 AM – After two hours of boating, arrive at Gosaba and explore the bungalows of Rabindranath Tagore and Mr. Hamilton Saheb on foot.
- ➤12:00 PM – 02:00 PM – Visit nearby villages to experience the local lifestyle, customs, and beliefs of the Sundarbans people.
- ➤02:00 PM – 05:00 PM – Enjoy a nature walk to spot mudfish and tiny red crabs, which burrow into the mud as you pass. Before sunset, return to your hotel.
- ➤07:00 PM – Experience an adventurous cultural evening with local folk musicians at the hotel.
- ➤10:00 PM – Dinner will be served in the hotel dining hall. (Meals during the day will be provided on the houseboat.)
Day 2
- ➤ 06:30 AM – Tea and biscuits will be served in each tourist’s hotel room. Guests are requested to check out by 07:00 AM and proceed to the houseboat.
- ➤07:00 AM – Obtain forest department permission to enter the deep Sundarbans, accompanied by a government-approved tour guide.

➤07:30 AM – 04:00 PM – Full-day boat safari before sunset:
Visit three watchtowers: Sajhnekhali, Sudhanyakhali, and Do-Banki.
Cruise through narrow river channels such as Pirkhali, Gajikhali, and Bonobibi Bharani.
Spot diverse wildlife, including migratory birds, spotted deer, crocodiles, monitor lizards, and with some luck, the Royal Bengal Tiger. - ➤04:30 PM – Witness the sunset over the river from the boat.
- ➤05:30 PM – Return to the hotel.
- ➤07:00 PM – Enjoy an optional campfire barbecue with roasted chicken or fish.
- ➤09:30 PM – End the day with a hearty dinner served at the hotel, making your Sundarbans journey even more memorable.
Day 3
- ➤ Begin the last day of your 2-night, 3-day Sundarbans tour package by checking out of the hotel early.
- ➤ Obtain permission from the Forest Department for the day’s excursion.
- ➤Visit Panchamukhani (Five Rivers Junction), a scenic confluence of rivers
- ➤Continue to Jharkhali, also known as the Tiger Project area, to learn about tiger conservation and explore the surrounding landscapes.
